From children on up, visitors of all ages will have fun learning about space from the exhibits and experiences offered at the Space LABO. Interactive displays of mysterious scientific phenomena can lead to new discoveries connected to our everyday lives. Among the exhibitions to be found here are, the largest tornado generators in Japan and an exhibition introducing Dr. Tetsuya Fujita, nicknamed "Mr. Tornado", the meteorologist. This museum also houses one of the largest planetariums in Japan, offering digital video images of beautiful starry skies taken from cameras with state-of-the-art projection equipment.
