Tyrannosaurus rex (Replica)
Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History
The T. rex was a carnivorous dinosaur in North America in the Late Cretaceous Period. It was a large dinosaur among the therpods, with a total length of roughly 12 meters. The large skull was complemented by strong jaw muscles, and it is thought that their sharp and thick teeth could chew through an entire animal along with its bones. It is also called a "hyper-carnivorous dinosaur." Their ancestors were feathered dinosaurs, and the fossils were discovered in China.
